The Real Facebook Parenting

Facebook hit the nail on the head when they called themselves Face book. Because, in essence, every face on this planet has a book that it is writing throughout its life.

Every face has a unique story, a message to share that’s unlike anyone else’s.

I have been guilty many times having fallen into the cycle where we often find ourselves: wake up, send kids to school, go to work, pick up kids, make dinner, homework, read Curious George, say goodnight, check Facebook, go to sleep. Repeat.

In truth, there is no thought to where I’m going through all this commotion, my long-term goals and dreams, no inkling of what is my purpose in life, of who I am.

I think maybe… skip Facebook tonight and concentrate on writing your face book. The world is depending on you for this….
